Happy Hippy Haus has always been about more than what’s on the shelves. It’s about the people who walk through the doors, the conversations we’ve had, the animals we’ve loved, the ideas we’ve shared, and the community that has grown around us.
Now we’re starting to build what comes next.
This Has Always Been About the Community
Hey, I'm Sam! I started Happy Hippy Haus in 2018 with one goal in mind: to help as many people as I could. That was true then, and it’s still true today.
When I first opened, we gave away free bread and sold a little bit of everything. We had fans, knickknacks, scrubs, candles, and plenty of other random things alongside our wellness products. I was trying different ideas, listening to the people who came through the doors, and figuring things out as I went.
Over the years, Happy Hippy Haus grew into something I never could have imagined. The people who came in as guests quickly became friends, family, and a community that continued to stand with us through every challenge and change.
Now, I’m going back to those roots. I want to give local small businesses a storefront they can call home, a place where they can learn, build their customer base, and grow until they’re ready to move on to bigger and better things.
At the same time, I’m continuing to build two other ideas that mean a lot to me: CALM, our mobile cigar lounge, and The Good Only Dude, a social media channel created to share good news, good people, and more of the things this world could use.
